UNION COUNTY — The artistic and literary abilities of some very talented students were celebrated recently by the Union County School District.

In a statement released Thursday, Jan Carter and Rhonda Hollingsworth, Curriculum Coaches for the Union County School District, announced that the district had “celebrated outstanding writing and art” during its annual “Anthology Night” which was held Tuesday, April 25 at Sims Middle School.

Carter and Hollingsworth stated that “over 100 students, from kindergarten through twelfth grade, had work featured in the anthology. This year’s cover illustration was drawn by Raven Spears, an eleventh grade student at Union County High School.”
