Various Times: Union area residents can learn about their risk for cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, diabetes, and other chronic, serious conditions with affordable screenings by Life Line Screening at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 915 South Pinckney Street, Union, on Saturday, April 22.

7 a.m.-noon: Oakbrook Community Church, 520 Alman Street, Jonesville, will hold a Yard Sale.

Items for sale include home decor, clothing, baby items, and much more.

Funds raised from the Yard Sale will go to support the church’s mission trip to Kentucky.

10 a.m.: McBeth Baptist Church Sunday School will host a Chinese Auction.

Ticket drop from 10-11:50 a.m. A variety of items for display. Tickets are $5.

Hot dogs for sale.

11 a.m.: Bethany AME Church will hold a Fish Fry.

Sunday, April 23

10 a.m.: The Corinth Baptst Church Family will celebrate their annual Missionary Day Program during morning worship service.

Our theme for the year is: Missionary; Household of Faith and Community of God.

The guest speaker will be Mrs. Marie Murphy, 1st Lady of Mt. Rowell Community Church.

Pendleton Fundraiser

8 a.m.-2 p.m.: A fundraiser will be held for Donna Pendleton at the First Baptist Church of Union Christian Family Life Center.

The fundraiser will include a silent auction, back sale, and yard sale.

All proceeds will go to help Donna battle cancer.
