Mr. Yutz was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Dec. 30, 1932, a son of the late Edward Joseph, Sr. and Elizabeth Yutz. He was self-employed owner of Viking Air Conditioning and Repair. A veteran of the U.S. Marines having served during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Diane DeHart and husband Tim, and Kerry Ann Yutz both of Union; two sons, Edward Joseph Yutz, III and wife Vikena, and Joseph Edward Yutz and wife Angela both of GA; two sisters, Lillian Lawler and Pauline Rhan of New Jersey; one brother, Robert Yutz of New Jersey; grandchildren, Melissa DeHart Gentry and husband Robbie, Matthew T. DeHart, Michael Blake Baldwin, Timothy Chase Baldwin and George Edward Yutz; one great-grandson, Levi Gentry.
Memorial Services were held 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 6, 2010 at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Randy Smith.
The family received friends from 12-1 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
