Faye Route is Week 2's fan of the week
This particular project is one of the most enjoyable. The first two fans of the week are young and spirited but Faye Route has followed the Jackets for 32 years.
Faye Route, better known as "one of the triplets", is week two's fan of the week.
She is proud graduate of Union High School's class of '96.
Route's first memory as a Jackets' fan was being a member of the "Sting Machine". Her fondest Yellow Jacket memory was when Union won the state title in 1995. Union defeated Walterboro at Williams-Brice Stadium, 31-16.
"I have pride because I've been pulling for the Jackets for 32 years. Everybody comes out to the game and it feels like one big family," Route said.
Route and her two sisters are easily spotted in the stands with their three, identical jersey t-shirts. The t-shirts are made in honor of their cousin and Jackets' player, Adrian Brown.
