A native of Simpsonville, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Ivey and the late Kate Watson Batson. She was a member of Burnsview Baptist Church in Greer. Mrs. Ivey was a devout Christian and cherished her family and friends.
Surviving are her two sons, Lonnie Ivey, Danny Ivey and wife Allyson; two sisters, Jessie Ivey, Lois Brock; and two granddaughters, Rachel and Leah Ivey.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Burnsview Baptist Church with Reverend Tim Huckaby officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be prior to the service on Sunday from 2-3 p.m. at the church.
The family is at the home.
