AUSTELL, GA — Sylvia Williams Ray, 66, 2130 Anderson Mill Road, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. A native of Union, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lillie Briggs Williams.

Survivors include four sons, James D. Ray, John Ray, Rodney Ray, and Derrick Ray; two daughters, Cathy Humphries and Sonya Ray; three sisters, Betty Fleming, Mary Carolyn Parker, and Lillie Marie Davis; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010 at 1 p.m. at St. Luke Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the home of her sister, Lillie Marie Davis, 401 S. Boyce St.
