UNION, SC — Mrs. Brenda Louise Gossett, 52, 200 Pine St., Union, SC, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Health Care System.

Born in Union, SC, a daughter of the late Flemming and Mozzell Kirkland Gossett.

Survivors include one son, Marcus D. Gossett of Greenville, SC; one daughter, Lakimberly N. “Muff” Gossett of Union, SC; a special son-in-law, Brian Dunn; two brothers, Alex Gossett of Union, Flemming Gossett Jr. of Columbia; five sisters , Bertha Gossett, Diane Gossett, Mary Elaine Norman (Thomas), Karen Gossett, all of Union, Shirley Gossett (Willie Eison) of Jonesville; Two special aunts, Minnie Ruth Bell of Jonesville, Annie Faye Gossett of Pacolet; and two grandchildren, Jhakia Curenton and Adaaijha Myra Jeter.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, at 3 p.m. at Maple Ridge Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. Viewing hours will be Friday Aug. 27, 2010, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Lewis Funeral Home

The family is at the home 200 Pine St. Union SC.
