BUFFALO, SC — Mr. Ronald S. Kingdon, Sr., 81, widow of Eva Garner Kingdon, 179 A Bailey Rd., Buffalo, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville.

Mr. Kingdon was born in Pavilion, NY, October 20, 1928, a son of the late Stewart and Bernice Warren Kingdon. He was retired from Union Co. Detention Center and later worked as a security guard with Conso Products. Mr. Kingdon was veteran of the US Army having served in the Korean War and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Surviving are two sons, Ronald E. “Ronnie” Kingdon and wife Janice Wilson of Buffalo, with whom he made his home and Ronald S. Kingdon, Jr. of Minnesota; one brother, Warren Kingdon of Virginia; several step-children including, Jonathan Fleming, Joan Fleming, Betty Jean Fleming and Jane Bragg; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family is at the home, 179 A Bailey Rd., Buffalo.
