LOCKHART, SC — Mrs. Ferol Sanders Clark, 85, wife of Glenn Clark, 407 North 3rd Street, Lockhart, SC died Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at her home.

Mrs. Clark was born in Pea Ridge, SC March 11, 1925, a daughter of the late Bryant Sanders and Mazie Howell Sanders. She retired from Spring Industries in Chester County and was formerly employed with Milliken & Company - Lockhart Plant. Mrs. Clark was a member of Mt. Joy Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Frances Alman and husband Marvin; a son, Wayne D. Garner and wife Peggy, all of Union; a step-daughter, Diane Wrinklebaeur and husband Tom of Kansas City, MO; a brother, Lee Sanders and wife Lois of Union; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Clark was predeceased by a brother, Keith Sanders; a sister, Kathryn Garner; a step-son, Glenn Clark, II and a grandson, Michael Wayne Garner.

Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Alan West and Rev. Ben Hill.

Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Belue, Allen Cabaniss, Chris Fleming, Jeremy Sanders, Mitch Sinclair, Randall Roark and Noah Garner.

Members of Marion Harris Sunday School Class are asked to sit in a group. The following grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers: Bryan Garner, Kevin Garner, James Alman, Rick Alman, Mickey Gibson, Ben Clark, Keith Sanders and Michael Keith Sanders.

Visitation will be held 11-12:30 at SR Holcombe Funeral Home prior to the service.

The family is at the home of her son, Wayne and Peggy Garner, 1096 Brown’s Creek Church Rd., Union.
