Ronnie was born December 4, 1960 with his twin Randy to the late Doretha Goode Owens and adopted son of the late Jessie and Jennie Henderson and the grandson of Eddie Mae Gist. He was a member of New Emanuel Baptist Church where he was a Usher and a Choir member and served with the Mens Ministry.
Survivors include his twin, Randy Dean Owens of the home and Eddie Owens of Buffalo, SC; sisters Rose M. Goode of Columbia, SC, and Tracey Owens Thomas of Gaffney, SC; six adopted brothers, Townsend Goode of Union, Albert Goode of Spartanburg, Harry, Maxie and Melvin Henderson of Union, and Denis Henderson of Oklahoma city; two adopted sisters, Queen and Eva Henderson of Union; one uncle, Harold Goode; one aunt, Barbara Wannamaker, both of Union; one great-aunt, Marie Goode Battle of New Rochelle N.Y.; three nephews, two nieces and a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 1 p.m. at New Emanuel Baptist Church by the Pastor James L. Mason with Burial in the Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at Noon to await the hour of Service.
Visitation will be Friday Evening at the home of his cousin Maxie A. Henderson, 279 Vaughan Rd, Jonesville.
Public Viewing will be today from noon-8.
The Lewis Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
