Mrs. McCuthceon was born in Union, July 26, 1951, a daughter of the late Joseph D. and Ruth Richardson Bingham. She was active in her husband's ministry and in the various churches conventions he has served. Mrs. McCutheon was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cary, NC and had formerly worked in child care. She was a devote Christian wife and mother.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Don Louis McCutcheon, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Cincinnati and Randy Malcolm McCutheon of Cary, NC; two grandsons, Lucas Aaron McCutcheon and Peter Joseph McCutcheon; four sisters, Marilyn McCormick, Faye Maynor, Diane Bingham and Mary Holloway, all of Rockingham, NC; and three brothers, Bobby Bingham of Clinton and Billy and Albert Bingham of Rockingham, NC.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Lockhart conducted by Rev. Ben Hill, Dr. Johnny Hunt, Dr. Neil Helton and Rev. Jay Huddleston. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens. Mrs. McCutcheon's family member will served as active pallbearers.
Visitation will from 7-9 p.m. Friday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
