Born in Union, SC, a son of Mrs. Shirley Belue Taylor of Jonesville and the late Jack Wix Taylor Sr. Mr. Taylor was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle of God and was a United States Veteran having served his country in the U.S. Army.
Survivors in addition to his mother include one brother, John Taylor and his wife Lisa who cared for Jack during his illness; one son, Bary Taylor and wife Christy of Union; three grandchildren, Michael, Hunter and Bradly Taylor; special friends Freda Taylor, Scott Caldwell, Jimmie Rose, and Phillip Fisher and a host of nieces nephews and close friends. The family would also like to give a special thanks to Hospice Care of S.C.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2010 at Union Memorial Gardens with Dr. Rob Jones officiating
The family will receive friends Thursday evening July 29, 2010 at the Lewis Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m.
The family is at the home of his brother 210 Sweet Water Dr. Buffalo SC 29321.
