CHARLOTTE, NC — Charles Edward Jeter, “Junior,” 67, of Charlotte, NC, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 10, 2010, at his residence. “Junior” was a native of Carlisle, SC, a son of the late Charles Sr. and Inez Jeter, and reared in Jersey City, New Jersey.

He was employed at Film Incorporations in New York, NY, for 20 years and then his family relocated to Charlotte in 1994 and worked at the Florita Nova Corporations.

His survivors are a loving brother, Vernon Jeter of Charlotte, NC; two aunts, Clara Tucker of Carlisle, SC, and Daisy J. Davis, his primary caregiver, of Charlotte, NC; two uncles, James Jeter of Union, SC, and John David Jeter of Carlisle, SC; a special cousin, Wendle Jeter of Brooklyn, NY; and a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 17, 2010, at Jeter Chapel A.M.E. church by the Pastor Timothy Taylor with burial in the church cemetery. Services will be at 2 p.m.
