JEMS teachers get special treatment for Teacher Appreciation Week

JONESVILLE — Teachers at Jonesville Elementary/Middle School received special treatment during Teacher Appreciation Week.

In observance of Teacher Appreciation Week, drawings were held each day this week at JEMS for various door prizes from businesses in Union, Jonesville and Spartanburg. Each teacher at the school was also provided with a gift of copy paper and a new pencil sharpener. The school also provided a catered lunch from Midway for all faculty and staff.

On Thursday afternoon, a grand prize drawing was held for a recliner donated by Unclaimed Furniture. The lucky winner was school guidance counselor Kim Holt.
