UNION — Foster Park Elementary students and staff recently celebrated their Annual Arts Night. This evening was entitled “ACT”, which stands for the Arts, Core Curriculum, and Technology. Foster Park strives to integrate all into each and every classroom to enhance learning and enrich students’ lives.
Many exciting things took place during Foster Park Elementary School’s Annual Arts Night.
The night started with a free spaghetti supper, Book Fair, scarf making, Twist and Shout booth, rubber band jewelry making, artwork on display throughout the building, ID cards, harmonica playing with professional Mr. Charlie Story, shag demonstration by Mrs. Amanda Leigh, painting demonstration by professional Mr. Russ Petty, and Black History program.
Hundreds of students, family members, and community members attended the annual celebration.
