Hello everyone, lots of folks talking about the cold weather and snow or lack of. Whitmire received about 1 inch of snow. Darn!
Despite the low accumulation, we had plenty of kids who enjoyed sliding the hills. Back in the day, we used to enjoy sledding and sliding on The Whitmire Golf Course. The fairways were the best way to get snow in your face on a large cola sign, cardboard box or lunch tray.
See what snow talk leads to, I had to digress to a memory of Whitmire past. Gottrocks de-iced his wings just in time to fly in and give me the birthday wishes.
Happy Birthday to Dale Broom, Lauren Couch, Brandon Norris, Marta L. Bostic, Tracy D. Hill, Angela O. Jackson, Peggy Caudill, Donna Bumgarner, and Baxley Alexander.
Feel Good Wishes
We send our best feel good wishes to Harry The Padre Felker and Jimmy Hollywood Hollingsworth.
On a sad note, we send our sympathy and best wishes to the families of Mrs. Linda Reid and Mr. Lee Roy Smith.
