Allrighty readers, Garabund The Deadline Fairy is still catching up on his sleep from New Year’s Eve, so he left me explicit instructions to get this column asap. Yes, Garabund was out on New Year’s Eve with Gottrocks in flight, checking to see if St. Nick made it back to the North Pole. The Annual Whitmire New Year’s Whistle sounded at midnight, sending our cats under the bed, after they did a gainer off the sofa. The fireworks had them on edge all evening, excessively grooming to go with their fear. But tradition, well, is tradition.
Here’s to seeing you next week.
