UNION — A local restaurant invites customers to come enjoy a new look and major additions to the menu.
Heart’s Family Restaurant celebrated its 50th anniversary in August, and 18-year owner Chris Bardis said the restaurant’s new makeover will prepare it for another 50 years.
“With a new look on Heart’s Restaurant, we want to become the spotlight of the town,” Bardis said. “Come see us! You’re going to like what you see.”
Renovations have already taken place at the restaurant, including new interior lights, carpet, blinds and wall decorations, as well as the addition of flat screen TVs in the dining room.
Bardis announced that during the week of Christmas, several additions will be made to the menu, including the addition of beer and wine as beverage choices. Food items to be added include hot wings and an assortment of vegetables. Bardis said lots of specials will spring from the new additions such as a plate of wings and a beer for $4.99 all day long. He said at least three new vegetables will be offered each day, and customers will be able to choose a meat and two sides.
“We want to please the customers the best way we can,” Bardis said. “We will not say ‘no’ to a customer.”
