Taps: In Remembrance

November 10, 2013

UNION COUNTY — They served their country and are now at rest.

Monday, Nov. 11, is Veterans Day, the day America honors those who have worn the uniforms of its armed forces in service and defense of this country and the freedoms enjoyed by its people.

Below are the list of names, compiled by the Union County Veterans Affairs Office from media sources, of those veterans who between Nov. 12, 2012 to Nov. 7, 2013 are known to have entered into eternal rest.

They have celebrated their last Veterans Day in this world, but we honor their memory and their sacrifice, not only on Veterans Day, but every day that we, as Americans, prove ourselves worthy of the freedoms they defended.
