UNION COUNTY — The Union County High School Junior Varsity (JV) football team finished the season with a 9-1 record, going undefeated in region play.

After losing their first game of the season to Spartanburg, the JV Yellow Jackets refused to lose any other games for the rest of the season. The team picked up wins over Gaffney, Greer, Fairfield Central and Newberry before playing five straight games of region competitors. The JV Yellow Jackets swept the teams in their region, finishing the season with a 35-0 win over Chester.
