UCHS falls to Clinton in volleyball

October 3, 2013

CLINTON — Union County High School lost to 15-25 and 10-25 against Clinton Tuesday night.

“I was disappointed with our outcome today,” Coach Sherry Jackson said. “I felt like we had a good chance to win against Clinton but we could not get over ball handling errors. We also missed several crucial serve opportunities. They had a couple of strong servers and we did not receive those serves well.

“Kasie Roark had three aces,” she said. “Caitlin Grant had an ace and an assist. Macy Scarborough had an ace. Mary Scarborough had a kill. Cheyenne Knox had an assist. Savannah England had two kills.”

Jackson said the team hosts Chester today at 5:30 p.m.
