UNION COUNTY — The Union County High School junior varsity volleyball team lost to Clover Monday night.

Coach Sherry Jackson said that the score in the first game was 19-25 and 8-25 in the second game.

“We lost the match to Clover but we played a lot better today,” Jackson said. “Our passes were on target but we got caught out of position too many times.

“Mary Scarborough had an ace. Macy Scarborough had a kill,” she said. “Caitlin Grant had an ace, an assist, and a dig. Kasie Roark had two aces. Claire Pridemore also had two aces. All of the girls are improving.”

The Lady Jackets are scheduled to play Clinton this evening.
