The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:
— Jamie Montel Rodgers, 29, of 608 W. Main St., Union, was charged with unlawful conduct toward a child around 6:30 p.m. Sept. 26. According to the arrest warrant, Rodgers placed an 11-year-old child at unreasonable risk of physical and mental harm by unlawfully and maliciously injuring the child with a belt, leaving extensive, deep bruising on the child’s arms, legs and back.
— James Keith Bumgardner, 45, of 274 Hickory Ridge Road, Jonesville, was charged with criminal domestic violence around 10:25 p.m. Sept. 26. According to the arrest warrant, Bumgardner grabbed a woman by the arms, bruising both arms, on Aug. 28 at an address on Rice Ave. Ext., Union.
— Winston Clinton Adams, 59, of 101 Gallman St., Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 5:45 p.m. Sept. 26.
The Union Public Safety Department reported the following incident:
— A resident of South Boyce Street, Union, reported on Sept. 26 that a black Craftsman pressure washer was taken from his front porch. The pressure washer was valued at $200.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:
— Monica Peyton Keisler, 19, of 219 Deepwater Road, Union, was charged with giving false information to police around 11:50 a.m. Sept. 26. According to the incident report, officers were attempting to serve a warrant on a subject at a residence on Main Street, Buffalo, and Keisler told them he was not at the residence. After a quick search, however, the subject was found lying on a bedroom floor.
— Brandon Clint Mobley, 23, of 805 Linersville Road, Union, and Cassie Nicole Fox, 29, of 1058 Main St., Union, were each charged with unlawful use of telephone around 4:45 p.m. Sept. 26. According to the incident report, Mobley and Fox called a woman repeatedly after being told to stop multiple times by police.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:
— A resident of Shady Hill Drive, Union, reported on Sept. 26 that her car had been vandalized. The complainant stated someone had thrown flour and smeared Vaseline all over the car. Damages to the vehicle are estimated at $100.
— A resident of Hope Drive, Lockhart, reported on Sept. 26 that someone entered her residence and took two diamond rings from her bathroom sink. The rings were valued at $500. The case was turned over to investigations.
— A resident of Osborne Street, Union, reported on Sept. 27 that someone entered his residence, forced him to the floor, and took a container with his money — approximately $1,300 — and medication inside. The case was turned over to investigations.
