Saturday, Sept. 14
10 a.m.: Foster’s Chapel United Methodist Church, located on Pea Ridge Hwy., will host a HALF PRICE fall consignment sale. Those involved are seeking consignors, and space is also available for vendors. Consignors make 70 percent, with 30 percent going toward a new playground for the church. Sunday, Sept. 15
9:45 a.m.: Jonesville Baptist Church holds Homecoming featuring Rev. Allen West. All former members and friends are invited to join us for Sunday School at 9:45 a.m., worship at 11 a.m., and a covered dish luncheon after the service in our CLC. A Sunday School high attendance emphasis will also begin that day so join us for everything!
10 a.m.: Trinity Baptist Church holds its 20th Homecoming. Sunday School is at 10 a.m. and Homecoming worship at 11 a.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Buddy Hogan. Dinner will follow in the fellowship hall. All are welcome. Rev. Neil Keisler is past of Trinity Baptist Church.
10 a.m.: Corinth Baptist Church celebrates its annual 1-Day Revival and Homecoming. The guest speaker for the 10 a.m. worship experience will be the Rev. Terry Norman of New Prospect Baptist Church of Townville. The guest speaker for the 3 p.m. worship experience will be the Rev. James E. Farr Jr., pastor of Flint Hill Baptist Church of Whitmire. 10:15 a.m.: Woodson Chapel Baptist Church holds its Annual Women’s Day Program at 10:15 a.m. Sister Effie R. Robinson, a member of Woodson Chapel, will be the guest speaker. The public is invited to attend. Rev. Robert E. Collins, pastor.
10:30 a.m.: Fairview Baptist Church celebrates Homecoming. This will be the 170th anniversary of the church. The Rev. Tony Brown of Whitesburg, KY, will bring the message. A covered dish lunch will follow the service.
11 a.m.: Padgett’s Creek Baptist Chruch will host a “marking of the graves ceremony” with the Sons of the American Revolution immediately following morning church service. Five graves will be marked.
3 p.m.: St. Luke Baptist Church’s deacons ministry holds their third annual deacons and deaconess program. Pastor Dudley F. Thompson III, pastor of the House of Reconciliation, 106 Porter St., will be the guest speaker.
4 p.m.: Community Missionary Church, 2230 Lockhart Highway, holds a One-Day Revival. Guest speaker is Pastor Jesse Canty of Living Waters Christian Ministry, Spartanburg. Dinner will be served from 2-3 p.m.

7 p.m.: Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 1622 Kelly Road, Union, holds Revival Services. Everyone is invited to attend. Rev. Carl N. Harris will be the evangelist. Ralph Freeman will be the music evangelist. Rev. Glenn Ribelin is pastor.
Monday, Sept. 16
6 p.m.: The Union County Baptist Association WMU Fall Meeting convenes at West Springs Baptist Church. The opening session, which begins at 6 p.m., will feature three mission speakers. Following the dinner at 7 p.m., the Leadership Team Members will be available to answer questions and offer assistance to any mission organization. Churches, remember to bring your quilting squares and purchase dinner tickets from your WMU Director.

2 p.m.: Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Jonesville holds its Annual Women’s Day Program with Sister Jackie Peake Thompson of Shiloh Baptist Church as guest speaker. 10 a.m.: The Pastoral Ordination Services for Pastor Anita Jackson will be held at Kingdom Assembly Outreach Center (1514 South Highway 14 in Greer). Pastor Anita Jackson serves in ministry in various capacities from being an Elder, preaching the gospel, leading the Women of Divine Power Ministry as well as being a YMCA certified fitness trainer and overseeing the Kingdom Assembly Outreach Center Fitness Center. Saturday, Oct. 12
7-11 a.m.: St. Augustine Catholic Church, 103 E. South St., Union, holds a yard sale. A variety of items and lots of clothes will be for sale. If it rains the yard sale will be held inside.
The Union Moms In Prayer group meets each Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. in the Family Life Center of Bethel United Methodist Church, 1705 Lockhart Highway, Union, S.C. This is an informal gathering of moms, grandmothers, and any other interested ladies who would like to be a part of this important ministry of praying for the students, teachers, and staff of our schools. There is also opportunity, for those who wish, to ask prayer for specific individuals. All ladies are welcome to participate. The Missionary Auxiliary of the Pacolet River Baptist Association has an Emergency Food Pantry in the rear (annex) of the town hall in Jonesville. The pantry is open Friday from 9:30 a.m. to noon and other times by calling the numbers posted on the sign at the entrance of the annex. Bring identification and proof residence.
