The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:

— Wendell Brannon, 29, of 744 Eisontown Road, Jonesville, was charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature around 6:20 p.m. Aug. 26. According to the arrest warrant, Brannon struck a man in the arm with a baseball bat, causing the man to seek medical attention for a laceration while at an address on Woodlawn Avenue, Union.

— Richard Lynn Gault, 49, of 417 Stutts Avenue, Union, was charged with driving under suspension, driving under the influence, and open container around 12:56 a.m. Aug. 27.

The Union Public Safety Department reported the following incidents:

— A resident of Tyger Court, Union, reported on Aug. 26 that his window had been broken, with glass knocked onto the bed. The damage was estimated at $150.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incident:

— A City of Union employee reported on Aug. 26 that a tag had been removed from an electric meter and the meter had been turned to the side at a Buffalo residence to which power had been cut off on July 10. Approximately $7.11 worth of electricity had been used without consent.
