UCHS places 14th in WGI World Championships

UNION COUNTY — The Union County High School Indoor Percussion Ensemble placed 14th in the world at the WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio, over the weekend.This is Director Matt Chastain’s third year with the UCHS Indoor Percussion Ensemble, and following a win at a local contest earlier in the year, Chastain said the students were realizing the value of commitment.“The students are starting to understand the whole idea of ‘if they work really, really hard, it’s going to pay off,’” Chastain said a few months ago. “It takes dedication, time and commitment, and now they are reaping the fruits of their labor.”

 

Circus an entertainment, financial success
